Legal, Legislative, and Safety Committee + Technical Standards Working Group
This combined LLS and TSWG meeting will identify the necessary next steps to address global trade and tariff uncertainty as well as the regulatory challenges facing product standards for bicycles and e-bikes. Topics of discussion will include how the industry can respond to the latest federal trade announcements as well as national and international regulatory developments.

E-Bike Committee + eMTB Working Group
With the growing legal and safety challenges associated with e-motos, this session will dig into how PeopleForBikes can move into our next phase of proactive education and model legislation around these products. Topics will include youth ridership of e-motos, educating parents about what is and is not an e-bike, federal regulatory action, and legislative priorities for 2026.

The MEEM session will focus on strengthening PeopleForBikes’ value proposition to connect with current and prospective members, deepen their engagement, and amplify their leadership. Together, we’ll explore what a great member experience looks like from onboarding through renewal, how to communicate our impact with greater clarity, and how to foster a true sense of community and recognition within the PeopleForBikes Coalition.

Accelerating Industry Belonging Committee
The future of the bike industry starts with today’s youth. In this session, we’ll explore how engaging with young riders can do more than grow ridership — it can build a talent pipeline for future industry leaders. From mechanic training in high schools to leadership development on the trails, we’ll discuss how existing youth programs are planting the seed for long-term career pathways in cycling and actionable ways brands and retailers can support youth-focused initiatives that foster belonging, open doors to industry careers, and shape the next generation of bike industry professionals.

Research + Statistics Committee
Strong data is the backbone of any industry, and PeopleForBikes is evolving our research program to help the bike industry make faster, smarter, and data-driven decisions. This session will look at the next phase of PeopleForBikes’ data offerings and how we can close current gaps, improve accessibility, and sharpen the story behind the numbers so our insights not only inform but drive action across the industry.

BPSA Trade Association Committee (TAC)
In 2025, global trade has experienced unprecedented upheaval, creating deep uncertainty and heightened business risks for the bike industry. Meeting these challenges demands more than business as usual — it requires adaptive policies, dependable sales data, and a unified, targeted strategy to both grow bicycling and strengthen the industry’s future. This BPSA TAC meeting will also include optional participation from PeopleForBikes board members.
Sustainability Working Group + Apparel Working Group
This session will decide the next major industrywide project aimed at addressing sustainability challenges within the bike business. Potential project areas include decarbonization, sustainable packaging, compliance and data sharing, and supplier responsibility standards.

Domestic Manufacturing + Supply Chain Working Group
This session will discuss policy opportunities for increasing domestic manufacturing and assembly across the bicycle industry, including the recently introduced U.S. Bicycle Production and Assembly Act. From messaging to outreach tactics, we will formulate a strategy to increase industry engagement around key policy initiatives and hear from existing assemblers on the opportunities, hurdles, and resources that define the current landscape.
