What is the expected weather and what should I bring?

Average temperatures in Northwest Arkansas during October range between lows of 45⁰ and highs of 70 ⁰. Cooler temperatures are possible and we recommend checking the local forecast a few days prior to the event.

Layers and bike-professional attire are recommended. For participants planning on riding bikes, we suggest bringing a helmet.

It will be chilly as you begin your day with a great breakfast and coffee on the patio. A warm windbreaker jacket for the mornings and throughout the remainder of the day is recommended. Layered clothes will be the most optimal as temperatures will fluctuate during the day and into evening hours.

What should I wear on bike group rides?

Windbreaker riding jacket and/or arm warmers
Moisture-wicking riding shirt or jersey
Headband/ear warmers
Riding gloves
Baggy shorts and leg warmers OR riding pants
Wool socks
Helmet
Water bottle(s)
Snacks
Riding pack to store any layers while riding, as needed
Layered clothes will be the most optimal as temperatures will fluctuate during the day and into evening hours.
